Halopack: The Sustainable Alternative to Plastic Trays
Among the key products, ASV Packaging and Hinojosa will introduce Halopack, an innovative and eco-friendly solution that replaces plastic trays. Developed exclusively by ASV Packaging in France and Hinojosa in Spain and Portugal, this tray stands out for its lightweight design, practicality, and composition of over 80% FSC-certified recycled cardboard. Fully recyclable, Halopack is an ideal alternative for fresh and ultra-fresh products packaged in a modified atmosphere (MAP) or vacuum-sealed (SKIN), helping to reduce plastic use in the agri-food industry.

A Key Event for Industry Dialogue and Sustainability
Beyond showcasing innovations, this trade show offers Hinojosa a valuable opportunity to engage with industry stakeholders and share insights to tackle future challenges together. This networking platform is essential for refining solutions and furthering Hinojosa’s commitment to sustainable development.
A Project Dedicated to the French Market and E.Leclerc’s Eco+ Brand
Visitors at the trade show will get an exclusive preview of the new 100% recyclable corrugated cardboard trays, specially designed by Hinojosa Packaging Group in 2024 for E.Leclerc’s Eco+ brand. Intended for fruits such as apricots, peaches, or nectarines, these trays provide an eco-friendly and efficient alternative to traditional plastic packaging. Optimized for transport in IFCO 6413 crates, they withstand the challenges of the refrigerated logistics chain. Their temporary closure enables convenient storage, while the flat surface facilitates labeling and ensures excellent product visibility. This project aligns perfectly with E.Leclerc’s environmental commitments.
Foodservice: A Range for Ready-to-Eat Food and Beverages
Hinojosa will also showcase its Foodservice range, a collection of fully recyclable and carbon-neutral primary packaging specifically designed for ready-to-eat food and beverages. This range addresses the needs of a rapidly growing market, where waste management and climate change mitigation are key concerns. Through these sustainable solutions, Hinojosa helps clients better manage waste while contributing to environmental protection.
A Strategic Partnership to Strengthen Presence in the French Market
The strategic alliance between ASV Packaging and Hinojosa plays a crucial role in expanding and reinforcing Hinojosa’s presence in the French market, where the company already operates seven production sites. This partnership creates a strong synergy, enabling an effective response to the rising demand for innovative and sustainable packaging solutions while offering tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of clients in France.
